UNHCR investigates two Rohingya refugee boats capsizing in Bay of Bengal

The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) is investigating reports that two boats carrying Rohingya refugees have capsized in the Bay of Bengal. The Rohingya are a persecuted minority from Myanmar who flee the country in large numbers by sea. The number of casualties and survivors is not yet known.
