Poland's 240 zł/h doctor pay cap won't fix healthcare, economist warns
The Polish government is proposing a 240 zł gross per hour cap on doctors' pay in public hospitals to curb the highest salaries. Economist Anna Gołębicka warned on TVN24 that flat-rate limits are never fair and will not address the root causes of the healthcare system's problems. She argues the move will only mask the deeper structural crisis rather than solve it.
