Gulf States' Costly Interceptor Missiles Struggle Against Iran's Cheap Drone Arsenal

Gulf states face a growing military dilemma as their expensive interceptor missiles are increasingly tested by Iran's cheaply produced drone arsenal, creating a severe cost asymmetry that favours the attacker. Iran mass-produces unmanned aerial vehicles at a fraction of the cost of the missiles used to shoot them down. Analysts warn that existing Gulf air-defence systems may be insufficient against a large-scale drone assault.
