Lebanon and Israel hold talks in Rome over Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon

Representatives of Lebanon and Israel held talks in Rome aimed at implementing a previously agreed framework deal. Beirut is pushing for progress on securing an Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon. The negotiations focus on the conditions set out in the earlier ceasefire framework.
