Polish institute calls for new road sign warning of pedestrians glued to phones
Poland's Instytut Spraw Obywatelskich (Civil Affairs Institute) has appealed to the Ministry of Infrastructure to introduce a new road warning sign depicting pedestrians looking at their mobile phones. The proposed sign would feature a red-bordered triangle with a yellow background and black silhouettes of phone-using pedestrians. The group also calls for a pilot programme and a nationwide public awareness campaign.
