Poland's CBA detains former KRRiT chief Maciej Świrski
Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) detained Maciej Świrski, the former head of the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT). Left-wing MP Tomasz Trela called Świrski "Kaczyński's man for special tasks," while KO MP Mariusz Witczak backed the detention. PiS MP Zbigniew Kuźmiuk dismissed the move as a political smokescreen.
