Andy Serkis: diversity in 'The Hunt for Gollum' will be addressed where relevant, not as box-ticking

Andy Serkis responded to BBC questions about a perceived lack of diversity in the casting of "The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum," which he is directing and starring in as Gollum. He said diversity concerns will be addressed "where relevant" but rejected the idea of simply "ticking boxes." The film is part of the new Lord of the Rings film series currently in development.
