Poland demands agriculture and Volhynia addressed in Ukraine's EU accession talks

Deputy Foreign Minister Ignacy Niemczycki announced that Poland will firmly defend its sensitive sectors, including agriculture, during Ukraine's EU accession negotiations. The opening of a negotiating cluster is the moment when formal demands are placed on candidate states. Poland has also raised the Volhynia massacres as a condition in the talks.
