Trump allows Ukraine to build Patriots; Kyiv also pursues homegrown missile system

The Trump administration has agreed to allow Ukraine to locally manufacture Patriot missile defence systems. Ukrainian arms firm Fire Point, which has already produced weapons that struck Russian territory, is now pursuing the development of a homegrown anti-missile system. Experts say building such a system is a far greater technical challenge than anything Fire Point has attempted so far.
