Electric BMW M3 will keep the M3 badge, not be called iM3

The head of BMW M has confirmed that the electric version of the iconic M3 will carry the same M3 badge as its petrol sibling, dismissing rumours that the electric model would be renamed iM3. BMW M intends to keep a unified naming approach for the performance model regardless of powertrain.
