Tusk apologises for slow pace of accountability for PiS: "I should have had more imagination"
Prime Minister Donald Tusk publicly admitted that holding the previous PiS government to account has progressed more slowly than he had planned. "I apologise — I should perhaps have had more imagination," Tusk said, pointing to procedural and legal difficulties hampering the process. The statement is a rare public acknowledgement by a prime minister of falling short of his own electoral promises.
