Poland's family ministry distances itself from later retirement plan for childless people
Minister of Funds Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz suggested that childless people should retire at 65. Deputy Minister of Family Aleksandra Gajewska distanced the ministry from the idea in an interview with Wirtualna Polska, stating that Pełczyńska-Nałęcz has no responsibility for that policy area. Meanwhile, one in two young Polish women declares she does not want children.
