Donald Trump's decision to resume military operations near the Strait of Hormuz has put the Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix at the end of the 2026 season in serious doubt. Rounds in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia had already been cancelled earlier. Formula 1 now faces a significant crisis in its race calendar.
