American referee Elfath to take England–Argentina World Cup semi-final

FIFA has appointed American referee Ismail Elfath to officiate Wednesday's World Cup semi-final between England and Argentina. Poland's Szymon Marciniak will not take charge of the match. It is the second consecutive World Cup semi-final that the Polish referee has been passed over for.
