T. rex tooth lodged in Edmontosaurus skull reveals a face-to-face predatory attack

A fossilised Edmontosaurus skull with a Tyrannosaurus tooth still embedded in its facial bone has given scientists rare direct evidence of a predator-prey encounter. The find suggests T. rex delivered a powerful face-to-face bite rather than attacking from behind or the side. It is one of the very few fossil records to preserve a direct physical trace of a T. rex attack.
