Sydney LGBTQ+ venue in former church ordered to cancel events after religious protests

The landlord of a deconsecrated Sydney church converted into an LGBTQ+ venue has ordered Divine Playhouse to cancel events and stop "engaging in offensive trade" following protests by religious groups. The venue opened last Wednesday as an inclusive space for LGBTQ+ artists and audiences. The landlord claims the events "insulted and mocked" the beliefs of Christian Australians.
