12 US states sue to block Paramount Skydance takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery

Attorneys general from twelve US states have filed a lawsuit challenging the planned Paramount Skydance takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery. The European Commission could issue its own ruling on the deal within nine days. Paramount argues the merger benefits Netflix by reducing competition in the streaming market.
