Warsaw's Ursynów mayor Kempa kept in post as KO councillors block his dismissal

Warsaw district councillors voted on Monday to keep Ursynów mayor Robert Kempa in his post, rejecting an opposition motion to dismiss him. The opposition sought his removal over a scandal involving the Szpital Południowy hospital, where Kempa served as chairman of the supervisory board. KO councillors voted as a bloc in his favour, maintaining the status quo.
