India bans film about rights activist killed during Punjab insurgency

The film "Satluj", based on the life and murder of rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra — who documented killings during the Sikh insurgency in Punjab — is being blocked by Indian authorities. Despite the ban, the film is gradually finding its audience. Khalra was murdered for exposing extrajudicial killings carried out by police.
