Disney announced a "Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts" event at D23, set for 15th August 2026, to commemorate the series' 25th anniversary — the first game launched in March 2002. The Kingdom Hearts series is coming to Nintendo platforms in October, with Kingdom Hearts 4 also confirmed for the Switch 2.
