Heatwave paralyses US with record-breaking temperatures reaching 46°C

More than 100 million Americans are set to be affected this week by dangerous heat stretching from Los Angeles to Boston. Cities in Utah and Montana recorded all-time high temperatures reaching 46°C, breaking previous heat records. It is one of the most severe heatwaves in US history.
