Outgoing Polish Ombudsman Wiącek: office handled over 150,000 cases in 5 years

Outgoing Polish Ombudsman Prof. Marcin Wiącek announced that his office handled more than 150,000 cases over the past five years. Speaking on the programme Graffiti, he stressed that the most important duty of the ombudsman is independence from government and consistently siding with citizens. Wiącek described all these cases as conflicts between ordinary people and state authorities.
