Melbourne professor tells royal commission: university must not tolerate office occupation by activists
Physics professor Steven Prawer told Australia's royal commission on antisemitism that the University of Melbourne must show it does not tolerate misconduct, after the expulsion of two pro-Palestine student activists who occupied his office was overturned. Prawer said he had not known at the time whether it was a terrorist attack. The commission is examining whether universities are doing enough to address protests and antisemitic incidents on campus.
