Android Auto to redesign media card with bigger album art and extra controls

Google is working on a refresh of the Android Auto interface focused on the media card displayed alongside navigation on the home screen. The redesign aims for a cleaner layout, more prominent album artwork and additional playback control buttons to make music easier to manage while driving. No release date for the update has been announced.
