BIK overhauls credit scoring — unanswered loan enquiries no longer count against you
Poland's Credit Information Bureau (BIK) has modified its credit scoring model, with the key change being that loan enquiries not resulting in a granted loan will no longer affect a borrower's score. The update coincides with searches carried out by the UOKiK consumer watchdog at BIK's headquarters as part of an investigation into scoring practices. UOKiK has noted that the new model is also being examined.
