PiS factions multiply as party struggles to respond

Several new political associations have emerged within Law and Justice (PiS), each linked to a senior figure: Mateusz Morawiecki, Jacek Sasin and Marek Suski, as well as a separate conservative initiative. Party insiders admit leader Jarosław Kaczyński wants to address the centrifugal moves but has no clear plan. One PiS politician described the situation as "taking on the form of a grotesque."
