Hospital scandal breaks 20-year Polish political rule: PiS can no longer bank on KO's failures
Commentator Majmurek argues that the hospital scandal surrounding the Koalicja Obywatelska government is breaking a rule that has governed Polish politics for over 20 years: that the opposition automatically gains from the ruling party's problems. Even loyal viewers of TV Republika are unwilling to claim the scandal would have been unthinkable under PiS. As a result, PiS can no longer rely on KO's difficulties to rebuild its support automatically.
