Deposit scheme may expand to cartons and miniature bottles — decision expected autumn 2025

Poland's Ministry of Climate and Environment has announced that a decision on expanding the deposit return scheme to include single-use glass packaging — such as miniature spirit bottles ("małpki") — could come in autumn 2025. There is also growing discussion about including carton packaging in the scheme. No specific implementation date has been set yet.
