Life sentence for disobeying combat orders – Poland plans harsher military penalties

The Polish government is considering tougher penalties for military insubordination during wartime, according to findings by "Rzeczpospolita". Under proposals on the table, failing to carry out a combat order could carry a sentence of life imprisonment. The changes are intended to strengthen discipline within the Polish Armed Forces.
