Oil up over 2% as Trump plans Hormuz shipping fees amid Middle East tensions
Oil prices climbed more than 2% on Tuesday after President Donald Trump announced plans to impose shipping fees on vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Escalating Middle East tensions further fuelled supply disruption fears. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical chokepoints for oil transit.
