Warsaw court rejects European Arrest Warrant for Ziobro — Ministry may reapply

The Warsaw District Court on Monday rejected a request to issue a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) against former justice minister Zbigniew Ziobro. Justice Minister and Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek did not rule out filing a new EAW application. Ziobro has for some time been avoiding appearances before a parliamentary committee and law enforcement authorities.
