Świderski vetoes Russian players' return ahead of 2026 World Cup in Poland

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) decided to reinstate Russian players to international competition, sparking a strong reaction from Polish Volleyball Federation president Sebastian Świderski. Świderski immediately vetoed the idea, saying he cannot imagine Russians playing in Poland, which hosts the World Championship next year.
