Ukraine and allies launch anti-ballistic missile coalition as cheaper Patriot alternative

Ukraine and key Western allies announced on Monday the creation of an air-defence coalition focused on countering Russia's ballistic missile threat. The coalition plans to jointly develop a new anti-ballistic missile system as a cheaper alternative to the US Patriot system. The initiative aims to bolster Ukraine's defences against Russian missile strikes.
