Estonia to build military base in Narva on the Russian border

The Estonian military will build a new base in Narva, directly on the border with Russia, capable of hosting around 1,000 soldiers. NATO units will also be able to use the facility. Estonian authorities stress that the permanent military presence in the Russian-speaking city is meant to signal that Narva is an indivisible part of Estonia.
