World Mourns Qatar's Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar's Father Emir, has died and tributes are pouring in from around the world, including from Gaza and India. He ruled Qatar from 1995 to 2013 and was credited with transforming the country into a major regional and global power. He abdicated in favour of his son, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in 2013.
