Coalition of the Willing Meets in Paris on Bastille Day Without the US

On Bastille Day in Paris, the so-called coalition of the willing — NATO allies minus the United States — held talks on the eve of the traditional military parade down the Champs-Élysées. Germany, Ukraine, the UK, Sweden and Greece will have aircraft in the flyover. The core agenda is how to do more on defence without Washington's military and financial backing, following an emotionally turbulent NATO summit.
