12 US States Sue to Block $110 Billion Paramount–Warner Bros. Merger

Attorneys general from 12 states — including California, New York and Massachusetts — filed suit on Monday to block the $110 billion merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. They argue the deal would create a media behemoth capable of raising movie prices and crushing cable TV distributors. The lawsuit was filed in federal court.
