12 state attorneys general sue to block Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger

A coalition of 12 state attorneys general, led by one of its members writing in a guest column, has filed suit to block the proposed Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery mega-merger in court. The coalition argues the deal is unlawful and poses serious risks to the media market. Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison has been pushing the merger, arguing it benefits the entertainment industry.
