EU countries imported record 10 million tonnes of Russian LNG worth €6bn in H1 2025

EU member states imported a record nearly 10 million tonnes of Russian liquefied natural gas worth €6 billion in the first half of 2025, according to Reuters and the Financial Times citing analytics firm Kpler. The gas originates from Russia's Yamal LNG project. Poland did not participate in the imports.
