Ukraine unveils Freyja anti-ballistic system — cheaper than Patriot, backed by 8 EU states, not Poland
Ukrainian private company Fire Point has unveiled the FP-7.X interceptor missile for its Freyja anti-ballistic system, intended as part of a joint Ukraine–EU missile defence shield. The system is cheaper and easier to produce than US Patriot missiles. Eight EU member states are backing its production — Poland is not among them.
