Bolivia considers recognising USDT as legal payment currency amid dollar shortage

Bolivia, facing pressure on its foreign currency reserves, is considering a legal framework that would allow the stablecoin USDT (Tether) to be used for payments, savings and trade. This would be one of the first instances of a country officially recognising a stablecoin as a means of payment at the national level.
