General Hospital hits 16,000 episodes and introduces character named after Tristan Rogers

Soap opera "General Hospital" aired its 16,000th episode on ABC on Monday. The milestone instalment features Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returning to Port Charles, and a reunion between Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick). New surgeon Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) joins the cast — a character named in honour of long-time cast member Tristan Rogers.
