Court rightly denied Ziobro EAW — no evidence he was in the EU

Lawyer Antoni Kania-Sieniawski says the court had no basis to issue a European Arrest Warrant for Zbigniew Ziobro, as there was no reasonable suspicion he was present in the European Union. After Ziobro travelled to the United States, prosecutors should have withdrawn their application. The EAW mechanism requires that the wanted person be located within EU territory.
