Dangerous Oak Processionary Caterpillar Spreads Across Europe, Reaches Poland

The oak processionary caterpillar, nicknamed "the caterpillar from hell," is spreading across Europe, with infestations recently detected in several Danish cities. Germany, France and the Netherlands are also battling the pest, and its presence has now been confirmed in Poland too. The caterpillar is hazardous to humans and animals as its hairs cause severe allergic reactions.
