ESA chooses Warsaw for new space centre in Poland

ESA Director General Dr Josef Aschbacher announced at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Finance Minister Andrzej Domański that Warsaw has been chosen as the location for the European Space Agency's new centre in Poland. Tusk declared that Poland is becoming one of Europe's leaders in space activity.
