Paramount revives A Nightmare on Elm Street with new movie

Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights to A Nightmare on Elm Street from the estate of late creator Wes Craven and is moving forward with a new film in the iconic horror franchise. It marks the first major studio push for the series since the 2010 remake. No director or release date has been announced yet.
