DRC takes Rwanda to the ICJ for a third time over eastern region violence
The Democratic Republic of Congo has filed a third case against Rwanda at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, relating to ongoing violence in its eastern region. A law scholar notes this attempt differs legally from the two previous unsuccessful bids, which were dismissed on procedural grounds. The case marks another chapter in the long-running conflict between the two neighbouring states.
