Pełczyńska-Nałęcz proposes higher bank tax and raised income tax threshold

Polish Minister of Funds Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz presented the Finance Minister with a package of tax proposals, including a higher corporate income tax (CIT) for banks due to their high profits, and an increase in the income tax threshold. She warned that failing to raise the threshold would be "the biggest political mistake the coalition could make." The Finance Minister listened to the proposals, but his response was not reported.
