Egypt bars LGBTQ+ cruise ship Scarlet Lady from Alexandria port

Egyptian authorities refused to allow the LGBTQ+ cruise ship Scarlet Lady to dock at the port of Alexandria. For many holidaymakers on board, the ban also means missing out on visiting the pyramids at Giza. This follows a similar earlier refusal by Turkey. The tour organisers said they were caught off guard by Egypt's decision.
