Perovskite–organic tandem solar cells gain stability with photo-transformable additive
Researchers publishing in Nature on 13 July 2026 have developed perovskite–organic tandem solar cells incorporating a photo-transformable stabiliser. The additive is designed to counter the rapid degradation these cells typically suffer when exposed to light and heat. The advance could pave the way for more durable and efficient next-generation photovoltaic panels.
